Leather can be obtained by killing certain animals. It is a versatile material that can be used as an extremely durable, wear and tear resistant and waterproof fabric. It is also used to make saddles.

Uses

Leather can be used to craft saddles, which can be used to ride horses, camels and donkeys.

It can also be used to make leather clothes such as a Leather Jerkin, Leather Pants, Leather Hat, Cowboy Hat, Leather Boots, Leather Sandals and Cavalry Boots which give good protection but bad insulation. You may wear chainmail, wood, copper, iron and diamond armor over leather clothes.

Obtaining

Wolves, hyenas, coyotes, tigers, jaguars, leopards, and lions drop 1 leather when killed, zebras drop 2 leather, donkeys drop 2-3 leather, horses drop 3 leather, camels drop 4 leather, and giraffes drop 8 leather.
