A large, dangerous mammal omnivore. Will chase anything that approaches it. Fairly slow, but powerful. Unlike Black Bear, likes warm areas. Not edible, but provides fur when hunted.

Description

The brown bear is a large predatory mammal that lives in temperate and cold regions. It is dangerous and inedible, but drops Fur when hunted. Bears come in three varieties: Brown, Black, and Polar, which all based on the regional temperature of the biome they inhabit. Specifically, brown bears have a brown coat, crème colored muzzles, and amber eyes.

All bear variants are omnivores, meaning they will eat both meat and plants. They will eat all forms of meat, cooked and uncooked, including: Bacon, Bird, and Meat, as well as Pumpkins and Bread.

Bears are considered hostile, meaning they will attack unprovoked if you are seen. If you manage to kill one, the reward is well worth it. They drop 3-6 Fur and Rotten Meat when killed.

Brown Bears can be found in jungles, forests, and caves.

General Uses

Bears drop Fur, which can be used to make fur clothing. Brown Bears can also be manually spawned in the Creative gamemode using a Spawner Egg.
