Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods in which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own nine backend search services that are core to the company's success. Among the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search results page page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work carefully with the Machine Learning group to bring AI-driven functions to the customer experience, such as search significance improvements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly team that focuses on strong onboarding and constant assistance. New employee are guided through the ramp-up process till they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each employee is handy to other staff member when dealing with difficulties. We value a culture where wins are popular freely, and obstacles are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person get-togethers, to keep sociability strong. Q. What's your greatest accomplishment so far at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy with the professional development I have actually achieved considering that joining Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years ago. Throughout this journey, I've established deep domain know-how, remained updated with developing market practices, and regularly dealt with . My dedication to continuous learning and impact led to my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my role as one of the group's technical leads. Most recently, I've handled the responsibility of being the People Leader for the team-an exciting next step that enables me to support others in their development while continuing to drive technical direction. I take pride in the fact that my long tenure here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to progress technically and take on higher leadership Q.
