A chunk of potassium nitrate. This is a white substance with high oxygen content that can be used as an oxidizer for making explosives.
Crafting
Saltpeter is dropped when breaking saltpeter ore.
Uses
- Saltpeter is used to fertilize soil to plant crops. See Farming page.
- It can be used as a pigment for paint.
- It can be used for certain type of Fireworks.
- It is also used in making gunpowder and Paint Stripper.
- It can be used as fuel, but will not do anything but use one chunk.
