I’ve also noticed a lot of people complain about animals spawning in their houses / gardens, even though they are enclosed. To prevent this from happening, keep them well lit and build artificial floors or pavements. Animals will not spawn on man-made surfaces, like cobblestone, planks or bricks. They only spawn in a natural setting, and when it’s dark.
