Talk:Adjustable Delay Gate/@comment-26421638-20171230121958

Forgive me for the odd question, but i was thinking: what is the purpose to use "fixed" Delay Gates with the introduction of ADG (Adjustable Delay Gates)?

For what i know, ADG are capable to replace fixed delay gates on every aspect, you could make bigger delays by taking the same amount of space, allowing to make bigger or more complex circuits, or same seconds of delays but saving some space. For example with 4 fixed delay gates directly attached to each other you'll get 9 seconds of delay, but with 4 ADG connected to each other you can have an editable delay up to 10,24 seconds!

Also with ADG you can do exactly the same mechanisms that fixed delay gates can like Clock or Pulse Circuits.

So my question is: with the introduction of ADG in 1.29 Update, why we should still use regular Delay Gates? Am i missing some hidden proprerties of fixed delay gates or they became "obsolete"? Sure, i'm aware that Editing every single ADG in a complex mechanism make take some time but the final result may be only better!
