About the note of Falling Speed (10 blocks per second)

I'm not completely sure, but the 2.0 changelog states that falling speed of Sand and Gravel is changed...

Seems that those blocks fall slower than before, i'm not sure but, anyone can confirm this? (or deconfirm?)
