I've made a world in creative with -16 of Temperature for Testing how and if Thermometer Works...
From left to right: Thermometer near Magma, Thermometer near Fire, Thermometer near Campfire, Thermometer quite far from Campfire, Thermometer "Unheated"
Hovever seems that Magma is capable to give a full voltage (16V) to Thermometer under certain circumstances... Maybe it depends of how is placed...
