Hi! My name is OMG18000 Gas I have joined the fandom community on August 10, 2016. My first edit on any wiki was on the now unpopular diep.io wiki. Then I moved on the another .io game called mope.io. I was there for a long time. I basically became a leader. Although I am now rip on the wiki because of no updates to the game! Then I kinda was waiting for a survivalcraft update. On june 22 kaalus posted a video called Rivers and Biome Size. At the end of the video he tells us that he is going to allow for a higher visibility range! Wait a sec, i didn't know that he can do that? Did he ever increase the visibility range? Or is this the first time? So I researched the topic about visibility range. I found out alot about it. That's why u always see me about visibility range! Then i came up on this wiki and i saw that visibility range had it's own page. But it wasnt until July 7th that i told myself it's time to clean it up. I cleaned it up a little, added a history section. And I changed the title from view distance to visibility range. After I came home from romania (yes i was on vacation) I figured out that 320 blocks runs verrry smoothly so I tried to find a way to increase the visibility range (yes by editing the game files). But how did i know what to look for? Well before I started playing survivalcraft I knew minecraft. And I knew that in minecraft you can increase the render distance by editing the game files. So in Survivalcraft i could do the same. So I searched a while until I got how to increase it. Before I found the answer I came across a settings.dat. It's not what I needed. But then I went into the localstate file and found settings.xml on July 28. I immediately spotted VIsibilityRange. The value was 320. Ok i decided to go i think 512? Not sure. But then it worked! OMG I was soo hyped. The next day I edited the visibility range. Then i made a hacking the settings file and made a forum post. Now i am here best known for my visibility range goodies!
